ATLAS’s Mission: To Make What Was Thought Difficult, Easy!

ATLAS was founded in the EU in 2015 by aerospace and robotics professionals with a vision to disrupt the UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) sector. ATLAS utilizes its proprietary and cost-effective technology to provide defense and security users with valuable data through advanced, highly reliable, robust, and easy-to-use products.

ATLAS has experienced continual growth ever since 2017. That year, the company created the cutting-edge AtlasPro drone - the first truly modern system of its kind designed from the bottom up as a component of a system, not just as a single drone with a single controller. It remains the only UAV on the market that "meshes out of the box" making multi-drone use from one controller trivial. Swarming is therefore a readily available and affordable reality for virtually any user.

During the same time period, the first Atlas Nest was born at the company's facility in Riga, Latvia. The Atlas Nest is a fully autonomous UAV docking station, which can be integrated as part of a security system and which can be preprogrammed to ensure 24/7 coverage of a predesignated, sensitive area. Its highly advanced artificial intelligence can detect suspicious activity and alerts the security team to the presence of humans or vehicles within a predetermined geographical area, out to 8km.

In 2018 ATLAS started working with NATO and the following year was introduced to the NSPA, subsequently delivering systems to NATO customers. Recognizing that the UAV sensor market was being dominated by a few expensive and difficult to work with suppliers, ATLAS set out to design and manufacture its own offering of cutting-edge sensors, resulting in the launch of the Argus and Kalos advanced product families.

Later, the company created the VisorFF, a thermal imagery camera with a lightweight design incorporating radiometric capabilities.

More recently, disappointed by the lack of affordable, capable UAS (unmanned aircraft system) communications options, ATLAS launched an advanced software-defined radio, designed specifically to support autonomous robotics. The module is optimized for UAVs and has a reliable anti-interference/counter EW mode.

ATLAS creates an entire UAS ecosystem, all in a single production cycle. ATLAS delivers new higher-level capabilities through an affordable and cost-efficient business model. All ATLAS products are designed and manufactured in the EU.
